About Us

Lollove is a medieval village nestled in the heart of Barbagia, Sardinia. One of the most beautiful medieval hamlets in Italy, it is surrounded by unspoiled nature — a place where time seems to stand still.

With the goal of preventing this small village from disappearing in coming years, the idea for this project came from the intuition of Simone, an enterprising young man in love with the village where he lived during his childhood.

Thanks to the support of his family and the local community, he pursues the mission of keeping the traditions of Lollovealive — a small village in Barbagia with just 12 residents today — located in the countryside between Orune and Nuoro. These traditions are now made accessible to visitors through immersive experiences.

From walks through the valley and the discovery of local history and traditions, to educational workshops and pastoral activities — without forgetting a bit of healthy outdoor sport Lollovers invites guests to enjoy an authentic, sensory journey. One that helps them forget the rush of everyday life and allows both body and spirit to relax in an atmosphere of peace and simplicity, rich in color, scent, and genuine charm.

Several studies have found and proved that after only 48 hours without technology, our body begins to make us feel a whole series of sensations that we are not usually able to perceive due to our usual routine.

That’s why Lollove presents itself as a Digital Detox destination, where presence and the senses take center stage.
